The sprinkled blood speaking!
You have come to...Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks (of mercy), a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel (which cried out for vengeance).
Hebrews 12:24 - Amplified Bible
We have a remarkable declaration in this scripture - the declaration that the sprinkled blood of Jesus speaks of mercy! It is a noble and gracious message.
Abel's blood cried out only for vengeance! In contrast the sprinkled blood of Jesus calls for mercy - the mercy that God has so marvellously given every possibility for expression in our new covenant relationship with Him. Abel's blood cried out from the ground of the earth. In contrast Jesus' blood speaks for covenant mercy from every place He sprinkled it as He ratified the New Covenant! It speaks from the tabernacle in Heaven and every instrument of ministry there. It speaks from the hearts of all God's new covenant children. It speaks from the Book of the New Covenant! This is why Paul in the final chapter of Hebrews prays on the basis of the Blood. He says, "May the God of peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant make you complete!" Heb.9:19-24; Heb.13:20.
You too can petition the Father on the basis of the blood, Jesus' blood, that He sprinkled. It often happens that as we come before the Father to make request of Him we are attacked by our own emotions or even by the devil about our worthiness or righteousness. This is the time to make your request "through the blood of the everlasting covenant"! Ask in the name of Jesus and with declaration of the blood that speaks for mercy on your behalf!
Jesus' blood has established covenant for you
