God sent forth His Son...that we might receive the adoption as sons, and because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba, Father!"
Galatians 4:4-6 - NKJV.
You were born again when you received the Word of God - Jesus. The Holy Spirit saw this Imperishable Seed within you and, at this sight, washed you with His washing of regeneration and renewing. By this God saved you from death by giving you life as His child!
Now the Holy Spirit enables you to respond as a child to God your Father. Having become a son, God sends the Holy Spirit to your heart so that you are able to call out "Dad" to Him.
