Demonstrating Victory
This Man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
Hebrews 10:12-14 - NKJV
Christ, that Man, arose victorious from the grave and sat down at the right hand of God! Christ won a once-for-all victory. It was a victory He won for you and me. It might not look like it at the moment on the outside but on the inside you have Christ's victory. As the scripture declares, "We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Jesus is waiting to see that victory demonstrated by you and me over His enemies. Rom.8:37.
I am reminded of how it was for the Allied Forces immediately after World War II. Allied Forces had to continue to go into action for a long time after surrender was officially declared and victory proclaimed. This happened because Japanese soldiers fought on not having heard of their army's defeat. It was not until it was demonstrated to them that their forces were defeated and victory was to the Allies that they laid down their arms. It is something like this in the spiritual realm for us.
You still live in a zone of adversity and conflict. This is because the forces of sin and death have not acknowledged defeat! You will have to demonstrate Christ's victory if you are to experience it. You will have to reign in life, reigning over sin and death and reigning over the forces behind it. Can this be done? Yes! Accept God's gift of righteousness in Jesus Christ and receive God's grace in abundance through Him. This will empower you to reign in life. Rom.3:21-22, 5:17.
By the grace in Jesus you can reign in life!
