Prayers made in Heaven
O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You. So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary to see Your power and Your glory.
Psalm 63:1,2 - Amplified Bible
This is how king David prayed: he first caught a vision of God's power and His glory. He approached God with worship looking to see in God's presence what God could and would do on earth on his behalf. David approached God to see His power and glory. Seeing this David prayed in faith. He petitioned the Lord that His works of power and glory could be seen on the earth!
Before you pray first catch a vision from God of what He would have done on the earth! Go into the presence of God with worship and receive a vision from Heaven of the power and glory that are God's. God makes this available to us through Jesus. God yearns for His people to live in the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus! He gave His Son so that rich and large things could come from Heaven into our lives. In communion with the Father you have a glorious opportunity to see how He would have things be. To see this you are welcomed into the Father's presence. Heb.10:19-22.
Your faith can do more in prayer than you've ever imagined previously. Your prayers can bring works prepared in Heaven into your world so that God can be praised and glorified. Look to behold God's power and glory and then pray. You tend to pray prayers that are limited by what you've seen, heard or thought. Now this can be fine and may be right. However, God has big prayers for you to pray - prayers according to His power and glory. Take time with God seeing His power and glory. Pray prayers that initiate things on earth that were designed and described in Heaven.
Pray knowing on the inside God's glory!
