To you: an enduring word!
The word of the Lord endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
1 Peter 1:25 - NKJV
God's word becomes a personal word to you when it reaches you by God's Spirit. There can be an impartation to you from God's Spirit from the written word. No matter what you're going through right now ask God for that word. This word will strengthen you on your way towards victory. It endures forever for you when the Holy Spirit speaks it to you. God's Word in this way becomes powerfully and effectively at work in you! Phil.2:12-13.
On one particular morning I was looking to the Lord for such a word! I needed something to sustain me. He gave me a phrase of a verse from one of Paul's epistles. It was a simple statement but one that jumped off the page at me. As I took it to heart it gave me light. The Lord has a word for you too in your situation. It will be a word that will turn on His light in your life and be a lamp to your feet. It will show you what you've been stumbling over and show you the clear way ahead around the pitfalls. Psa.119:105.
Ask the Lord for a word for your situation. Expect that what you hear on the inside is just what you need. The Holy Spirit will bring a scripture passage or portion to your remembrance - one He has caused you to notice recently or highlighted for you some time ago. This time He'll focus it on your life and show you its powerful relevance to your present situation. Instead of struggling along trying to figure out how you are going to make it, let a word from God enter to give you faith and courage with light and power! Joh.14:26.
A word from God can get you through!
