Regaining divine health
For we are very familiar with his (Satan's) evil schemes.

People in my church have been finding their health under attack! A believer's health is precious because the price for it was paid on the Cross. Jesus was made a curse for us to redeem us from the curse. By His substitutionary sacrifice on the Cross, sickness was displaced so health in Christ could be ours by inheritance. Health is God's plan for His people. Isa.53:4-6, Gal.3:13, Exo.23:25.
Why then do people with a revelation of Christ get sick? Two reasons: one, the curse is still in the earth (though not legitimately on a Christian) and two, the devil still roams about. "OK, but why then," you ask, "isn't my health instantly restored when I spiritually defend my health and resist the devil?" The answer to this is in the nature of the devil's attack. The devil has a strategy. You've been holding onto all that related to Christ's victory. He organises affliction in an attempt to get you to let go of it. He's determined you should give up your stand on God's word of promise. See Eph.6:12.
This wicked and determined strategy takes a lot of dealing with! It means you've got to grow more into "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". You can possess your health in spite of the devil's battle plans when you stand in the stature of the Lord. In His stature fight the good fight of faith. In His stature exercise the power to see things through. In His stature set up your life on Kingdom of God principles. See Eph.4:11-14.
