Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, 'The Lord rebuke you!'

Jude 1:9 - NKJV

God knows and cares about the condition of your body. He cares so much that one day He is going to resurrect it. It's going to get an upgrade to a glorious condition. This upgrade will make manifest the fullness of redemption. This will be God redeeming your body so that it takes on an immortal and incorruptible form. Now consider this, if God has such care for your body after you die, imagine the extent of His care for it while you're still alive. See Psa.103:14, Ro.8:23; 1Cor.15:53, Phil.3:21.

This is an area that the devil has lied in to the church and they've swallowed it. He has gone about persuading Christians that God doesn't care about their bodies. On the contrary, God has provided health for our physical bodies through His Son, Jesus. Our bodies were made by the Lord and for the Lord to love, serve and glorify Him on this earth now and also forever more. The scripture at the top of this page shows the devil's hatred of this plan. 1Pet.2:24; 1Cor.6:20.

There is a redemption of our physical bodies to come. What of now? In His care for our bodies, God has given us His Spirit in our bodies. By this way, God has provided a foretaste of that redemption that is to come. By this manner, in this life by His Spirit, God quickens - revitalises, invigorates - our bodies. It is a sample or down-payment on the totality of redemption to come. It's available to you daily and you are called to receive it by faith. In the name of Jesus pray in faith today. Eph.1:14; Ro.8:11.

Pray today for a foretaste of redemption!
