Sufficient by grace

by Pastor Simon

He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - NKJV

Are circumstances facing you today that appear beyond your strength? Are tasks facing you that appear beyond your talents? If so, seek grace. Begin your day in the presence of the Lord where His grace is granted. From the throne of His grace grace will flow out to you in good measure accompanied by faith and love. Andrew Murray wrote, "That grace is for timely help, literally well-timed help, just the special help we need at each moment." Heb.4:16

In a time of pressure apostle Paul lost sight of God's grace. Consequently, he pleaded with God to remove from him what actually he had grace's dynamic empowering to deal with! We've all done something like that at sometime. In trying times we've look to God to remove the task or circumstances we were facing while in truth we could have employed God's grace to accomplish them or reign over them. It is in these circumstances that God's word came to Paul saying, "My grace is sufficient for you." Ro.5:17.

To have grace is to have what it takes to accomplish the task set before you. To have grace is to have possession of adequate resources! Grace is an intensely practical gift from God. For this reason apostle Peter exhorts you, "Rest your hope fully on the grace that is being brought to you." To have grace is to have the means to successfully make it through all that is set before you. 1 Pet.1:13, 1 Tim.1:14

Have grace to help you make it!
