A treasure of wisdom
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
Psalm 51:6 - NKJV
The Psalmist looked to the Lord for wisdom. God is willing to give wisdom liberally to you. God's offer of wisdom should excite you. Wisdom is what you need in difficult times and trying circumstances. Wisdom will equip you to select a safe route. Wisdom bestows prudence to you for making choices. It gives you discretion in relationships and discernment when it comes to decision making. Wisdom can see you past the obstacles. It can keep you out danger and away for dead-end pathways. See Ja.1:5 and Prov.8.
It surprises me how late many Christians start seeking wisdom. The extent of their access to wisdom is to build a hospital at the bottom of the cliff instead of a fence at the top. They look to use wisdom after the fact instead before. Wise Christians seek God's wisdom so the accident doesn't happen in the first place. How is wisdom operating in your life? God's wisdom blesses your life most wonderfully when it's at the heart of your affairs. God has got wisdom for you for everything you face and He wants to place it at the very heart of your life. God wants to deposit His wisdom in your innermost being. As you give Him this opportunity you will find yourself able to deal with all of life's challenging circumstances.
Don't keep trying to simply muddle through. Don't continue stumbling onwards in the gloom of life. Instead, look to God. Seek and open your heart to His wisdom. Spend time in prayer. Spend time reflecting on the counsel God's Word makes available to you. Every day, through His Spirit and His Word, God can make a deposit of wisdom within your innermost being. This wisdom from above will carry you through. Eph.1:17-18, Psa.119:130, Ja.3:17.
