The parable of the leaven
Another parable He spoke to them: 'The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until it was all leavened.'
Matthew 13:33 - NKJV
Leaven is an agent used to raise bread. The kingdom of heaven is like leaven. The kingdom of heaven specialises in rising you up from the low life to live in the high life of God. You may well think of resurrection when you think of rising. In which case you'll probably be thinking of the resurrection from the dead. The Apostle Paul also wrote, though, that he was looking to experience "the spiritual and moral resurrection that lifts me out from among the dead even while in the body". Phil.3:10-11 - Amplified Bible
As people journey towards Jesus, the Bread of Life, they often need you to be bread for them. If your life is rising up out of the low life into the high life of God you become bread to the famished. What does the kingdom of heaven have that will cause you to rise like that? It has "rhema". "Rhema" is God's revealed-to-you word. Rhema is the Word of God that's imparted to you and brought to life for you by God's Spirit. Seek that and whenever you get it take it to heart. It'll start you rising. Ro.6:4-5.
You can be God's bread dough in God's warming house! Stay in the warmth of Christian fellowship by the hearth of the Holy Spirit's fire. In that place the rhema word will make you rise. You'll start to recognise then that you have part in the power of His resurrection. Others also will start to sense it and be blessed by it. You'll come to stand in the "measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". Eph.4:13.
Be rising in Christ's resurrection power!
