Call to arms
Ours is not a conflict with mere flesh and blood, but with the despotisms, the empires, the forces that control and govern this dark world - spiritual hosts of evil arrayed against us in heavenly warfare.

This life zone we live in is not one in which spiritual threats are absent! There is a spiritual conflict going on around your life. There are wicked spirits in this zone; a condition that sometimes impacts on your affairs. Although you shouldn't be quick to attribute your woes to this, nevertheless the devil is up to dispatching spirits against you. Such spirits are part of the spiritual army of wickedness the devil has on the earth that steals, kills and destroys. Ro.8:15.
What is to be done about this? You must first of all acknowledge the threat. Realise you need to be watchful. For example, watch out for any strange, rapidly engulfing bad changes in your circumstances, in the well-being of your body or soul or in your personal relationships. Changes like that can indicate a spiritual attack. You need to be actively alert against such attacks. Remember, the whole armour of God. You must have it on. Keep it on at all times. 1Pet.1:13, Eph.6:10-19.
God has given you His armour for your protection! Act against any attack in and with that armour. Don't stand there taking a battering. Oppose it! Be strong in the Lord and His power, standing fully clothed in His armour. Wield the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. This means speaking out scriptures that apply to the moment and the condition. At the same time, pray with all manner of prayer and supplication; especially in tongues by the Holy Spirit! Ro.8:26.
In God's armour resist spiritual attacks!
