How to overcome!
They (the saints) overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus!) and by the word of their testimony.
Revelation 12:11 - NKJV
"I want to be healed of this sickness," wrote a visitor to my teaching web site, "what ever it is." She added, "Also since the Lord has been moving in my life these last few months the enemy has come against my family like never before." I responded, "The devil is riding rough shod over you and your loved ones. He has no right to do this! You need to declare the blood of the Lamb over your life and family!"
Have you been suffering in a way similar to her? If you have, the scripture above provides an answer on how to respond. You are to declare the blood of the Lamb. Jesus has given you His own blood to mark off the boundary of your life from the devil. Declare the presence of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus around your life as a boundary the devil cannot with any legality cross. Resist the devil. He will flee. He will stand afar off. In my household if the devil even puts a nose over the borders of our land and we declare aloud in prayer, "The blood of Jesus is the blood of our covenant. His blood guards our borders. We resist the devil and he will flee from us." 1Cor.5:7b, Exo.12:21-23
The blood of the Lamb speaks for you. It declares to Heaven, earth and hell itself God's eternal covenant with you through Jesus. The blood of Jesus is the blood of God's everlasting covenant. It is by that blood covenant you have protection. By the blood you can live through Jesus Christ as an overcomer. You can reign in life victoriously by the blood's gift of righteousness and by the abundance of God's grace! Ro.5:9,17.
By the blood you have Christ's victory!
