Rest in God!
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way, though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Psalm 37:23-24 - NKJV
Are you afraid of falling? Look God's got you! Jesus has brought you into a relationship with your heavenly Father from which you cannot be lost. God the Father has received you to Himself by His beloved Son. God regards you in every sense as His own child. Surrounding you now is all of His lovingkindness! Heb.10:14, 13:5.
How can we any longer feel insecure in our lives? We are accepted with God in His Son! We need to tackle any sense of insecurity in our lives with the knowledge of who we are in Christ Jesus. Your life is now 'hidden with Christ in God'. Do you realise what this means? It means there can only be one outcome of anything that happens or is threatened against you - you will recover, be restored and be kept by God and in God! It doesn't matter what anyone throws at you - it won't stick on you for long! Or what they try to take from you - God will give it back! Or what pit they attempt to cast you into - God will raise you up! Col.3:3, Ro.8:31, Gen.50:20.
Be at rest in God! You have sure security in God. It's sure because your security depends on Christ, not anything you've managed to achieve! Be settled in the knowledge that you are wholly accepted with your heavenly Father because of His Son Jesus. You are in Christ and therefore you can have a complete sense of security in your life. Rest in God as you rely on God and He will hold you to Himself, bring you through and work a good work in you. Eph.1:6, Ro.5:1.
Let your security in God dispel your insecurity!
