The Lord will keep you

by Pastor Simon

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 - NKJV

Don't give up on yourself! The setbacks you experience may seem monumental now but before long you'll look back and see they weren't anything like as large as you thought. It's the devil who takes advantage of your failures and errors to harangue you. As the accuser of the saints he tries to make it sound like all you ever did was short of the mark. Rev.12:10.

Encourage yourself in God! In prayer and worship commit your life and everything in it to the Lord. You will see it all from a different perspective then. You will see God has been at work in you and around you and your affairs for a long time now - ever since you began to seek Him. The Holy Spirit has no intention of allowing everything to unravel in any area of your life just because you didn't get one part right. He's going to keep you. Psa.37:28.

Condemnation is what you feel when the devil gets through to you. He accuses, "You failed, you have sinned, so nothing now will come of anything you have been looking to achieve or hoping for!" The Holy Spirit has a very different message for you. He says, "From the beginning you were looking to Me for any accomplishment. I have given you my guidance and will continue to give it. I will uphold you." You need to pray, "Father I turn to you again. Uphold me, Lord, and bring me through into Your good plan for my life. In Jesus' name I pray." Isa.41:10-13, Jer.29:11.

Look again to your Maker; He'll keep you!
