God's health resort
(God brings forth in the earth) wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man's heart.
Psalm 104:15 - NKJV
Something wonderful can happen to you in the Lord's presence by the Holy Spirit. In His presence you can partake of the wine of the Spirit, the oil of the anointing will start to flow on you and the bread of God's word will come to strengthen you.
How can you put yourself in a position to experience this? Here's what to do. Find a place by yourself where there isn't likely to be interruptions. Flip open your Bible to ponder aloud scripture; at Psalms, for example. Start to worship with raised hands. Come before the Father in the name of Jesus. Stand before Him and bathe in the light of His presence. Welcome the Holy Spirit. Welcome His work and ministry. Read a psalm as a prayer and praise or pray in tongues. Wait there with God.
People in the world realise there are times when they need physical restoration. In order to get this they might book themselves in to a health resort. We in the church should realise we need times of spiritual restoration. To get this let's enter daily the spiritual health resort which God's Spirit runs. Have you read about Abraham's wife Sarah? When she was advanced in years she was still the desire of kings. We're told she was "a woman of beautiful countenance". I believe it was the oil of God's anointing doing that. I like to think Sarah knew about God's health resort. Be assured His health resort is open to you too. Gen.20:1-2, Gen.12:11, 1Pet.3:4.
