My God supplies
Jesus' tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece.
John 19:23 - Weymouth's translation
God is good to His people! Jesus came to earth to save us and bring us into a special relationship with the Father. He came as the Lamb of God. By the blood of His sacrifice He established for us a relationship with God in which God says to us, "You are My people!" and we say to Him, "You are my God!" We are His people and He is our God. Hos.2:23, 1Pet.2:10.
Let me illustrate this. In the year our church was founded Ruth and I moved into a house which we rented from the town council. That was in 1993. A little over six years later we were able to purchase it. Then in 2003 we were able to call the builders in. We had them transform the downstairs to give it space and a modern look. We also had them convert the roof level into a third floor with office, master bedroom and views of the Cotswold hills. Our house is now a desirable and modern property. There is money outstanding on it but nevertheless the asset value is greater than the liability. Year on year God has given us good things. He has guided us with His wisdom. He has provided for us, His people, a good home.
You can expect to come into good things by God's provision through Jesus Christ! God blesses His people who keep company with their Saviour Jesus Christ and diligently learn His ways. This is good for you and it is good for God's work on earth. What God provides for His people you are able to use to His glory. So when God blesses you with more, give thanks and rejoice. In that increase seek the Spirit's leading that God may be glorified in it. Phil.4:19, Psa.84:11.
Praise the Lord for His blessings!
