Good steward
To one, indeed, he gave a sum of money, five talents, and to another, a sum of money, two talents, and to still another, a sum of money, one talent, to each one in the measure of his own inherent ability; and went abroad.

The marvellously suitable house we live in became our home through the Lord's wonderful leading. It didn't look very special when we first got here. The challenge of improving it was clearly left us. Room by room I started working on it and, in spite of my semi-dislike for the job of decorating, the appearance of the house started to improve. Finally, while I was decorating one of the bedrooms I found myself saying, "I can really do this!"
There is a match in Christ between what you've been given in the way of resources and what God's granted you in the way of ability. Is that a big surprise to you? Have people around you suggested you aren't up to much and don't have much going for you? God, on the other hand, says you've got a lot going for you! For example, look at what you've got going for you spiritually in Christ! God has equipped you to successfully handle all He has given you charge over. May the voice of His Spirit in His Word minister the revelation of this to you. Phil.4:13.
What has God put in your hands? Look about you and you will see things He's given you responsibility for. How much are you making of them? It could be that you are being hindered from doing more with them because you're thinking you haven't got much in you. This isn't correct! When God gave you resources He did so knowing what measure of ability He had put within you. He knew that it was sufficient. He knew you could profit by them!
Be confident in Christ's enabling!
