The Daily Guide
The sun shone
Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:13 - NKJV
We used to hold a yearly outdoor fireworks event at my church. For awhile it was one of the best opportunities of the year for us to bring non-church goers onto our church premises. I remember the first one we held. It came at the end of one of Britain's wettest November weeks for decades. Yet, on the day itself the sun shone. It was a beautiful Autumn day. This weather was arranged weather. It was weather arranged by the prayers of the saints!
Do you need conditions arranging? If so, first check with the Holy Spirit about whether your sense of a need for change is right. Next, if it is, make preparations to pray. How do you do that? First, establish there's a precedent in scripture of such a condition change. Search out a Bible account of a similar change. For example, you might refer to Elijah stopping the rain, our Lord Jesus stilling the storm or the children of Israel catalysing the fall of Jericho's walls. Once you've got this, look up some specific Bible promises as a basis of faith for your prayer. Finally, in prayer present your petition to God and, with the authority of Jesus' name, speak your requirement in the earth. Mat.18:19, Mar.4:39.
Power in prayer is granted to you by Jesus Christ. He gave it to you to use in organising the conditions of your life to His glory. Objects have to come under your authority and conform to what you are requiring of them. This is different from the situation with people, people are granted by God the majesty of making their own free will choices. We can be vigorous in prayer regarding conditions but we need to be very sensitive in prayer regarding people. Mar.11:22-24.
By prayer set the scene
