Be at home in Christ!
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
John 15:5,4 - NKJV
On the day you received Jesus as your Saviour and accepted His sacrifice for you, you were joined with Him as one! You were grafted into Him and He became your stem of supply, strength and sustenance. You were positioned to spiritually reside with Jesus as one. You were set up to experience this as a trusting dependency in Him that would bring you rest and cause you to bear much fruit. Paul describes this marvellous state of being with the words, "He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him". 1 Cor.6:17.
Experience richly your relationship with Christ! Christ the vine and you and me the branches of that vine. This is our oneness with Him. This is the oneness God has given between Christ and His church. It is supernatural in character but it can have daily, natural expression in our lives. It can immeasurably and wonderfully empower our lives! As we walk with Jesus and partake of His Spirit we will come to experience this more and more. It will cause God to be recognised, praised and thanked.
Commune with Jesus, rest in Him and enjoy His loving care for you. Feed on His supply of life and strength - allow it to infuse into you and throughout your entire being! When you reside in Jesus and let Him reside in you there will be a product of life in you that refreshes you and blesses those around you!
Find strength in Jesus your Lord!
