God's pre-vision
Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
Matthew 6:8 - NKJV
God by His pre-vision sets things up ready for the provision you need! Pre-vision: that means God has seen things ahead of you. Provision: God makes arrangements for you in advance of you getting there. It's God's wonderful forethought on your behalf. As a result of God's faithfulness you have what it takes for demanding times even when you didn't realise you would. So before you call on God for provision, look to see if God's pre-vision hasn't already provided! Phil.4:19.
This provision operates at the simplest level. One night, for example, I took an item over to someone. I did so because of an inner prompting of the Holy Spirit and I did so in spite of thinking that actually doing it the next day would have been fine. What happened the next day? It turned out that having that task done made a way for doing another (and important) task that I would have otherwise found difficult to do. What about you? Is there in you a prompting to do something but it doesn't seem to connect with your activities at the moment? If so, it could be God in His pre-vision looking to set up something in your life for a future requirement! Psa.32:8.
In prayer check in with God about the sense of prompting you're experiencing. Although that prompting may not seem to relate to anything at present nevertheless ask God if it's one you should be acting on. (Note: God confirms for you with His peace the validity of your inner witness - see Col.3:15.) At some future moment you may be very thankful you did! Psa.119:105.
God's vision matches future requirements!
