"Lord, I want it this instant"
They did not wait for His counsel, But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert. And He gave them their request, But sent leanness into their soul.
Psalms 106:13 - 15 - NKJV
It's rarely in faith when you cry out, "Lord, I want this fulfilled instantly." God answers prayer but rarely instantly. God often waits a moment allowing people and things to move into place before His miracle happens. Likewise, those with genuine faith wait. It's wonderful what happens in those moments when you're still before God waiting on Him. Psa.46:10.
God has a miracle for you - you just need to move in faith according to His timetable. The timetable of God is there so you catch the train. What gets you where you need to be is moving according to Holy Spirit prompting and waiting according to Holy Spirit patience. This is especially so when it comes to people. God isn't a chess master moving people like chess pieces. God works with man's will rather than against it. Someone allows Him and He works; someone resists Him and He waits. For this reason, you'll need more endurance when waiting for prayers to be answered that have people's lives and hearts at the centre of the request.
"Suddenly" is a common word in the Bible but you don't often find the word "instantly". Why? Because on your faith walk things often seem to suddenly change but they rarely change instantly, that is to say, happen the very moment they're requested. After you've prayed - as you walk in faith - you can expect "suddenly everything came together"! Walk by faith, in spite of not seeing things instantly appearing, and soon you'll reach "suddenly things changed"!
By faith and patience walk to your miracle!
