Be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 - NKJV.
True humility is acknowledging that from yourself as a source you haven't got what it takes for whatever is before you - in that humility you cast all the care of it on God. You do the only responsible thing to do; you give all your concern to the One who has all that it takes!
In the true humility of casting all your cares there is a three part victory. First, you come to partake of God's grace. Second, you get God's mighty hand positioned to promote you in due time. Third, you have God handling everything connected with what has been your care.
