Expressions of love
The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

Unless you know God has for you a glorious destination, you won't be setting out on the journey toward it! Instead, you will probably camp out in your wilderness. Yet, by diligently taking time to explore God's Word - with its promises and prophecies - you are giving God's Spirit chance to show you the glorious future God intends for you. Fresh vision, courage and confidence will arise within you at the picture of that future!
Awhile ago over a period of a fews days I spent some daily time meditating on the first part of Jeremiah 31. Each time I started to read it, fresh encouragement came to me with an excited anticipation over our futures in Christ. In some parts I was nudged into prayer, in others I was touched by God's tender love for us and, in yet others, I was excited to declare aloud in the earth God's promise of goodness to His people. The Bible is full of expressions of God's lovingkindness and faithfulness. We are to search them out; letting their consolation and light into our lives! Jer.15:16.
Have a heart and an ear for God's words of love to His people! In the Bible, ready for you to discover, are countless expressions of God's goodness and faithfulness towards you. These words of the Lord will impart an expectation of good to you and encourage you onward towards your promised future in Christ. God's words of promise will remind you of His lovingkindness. Jer.29:11, Psa.63:3-4.
