His ways lead to His acts
He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.
Psalm 103:7 - KJV
Gloria Copeland wrote, "If Moses had not been faithful to know God's ways, the children of Israel would never have seen His acts." I am sure you want your church and your family to see the acts of God. What's it going to take? It's going to take someone getting to know God's ways. I reckon you are the best candidate to be that "someone"!
How did it happen that Moses got to know God's ways? It all started when he turned aside from his routine busyness to see what the fire was that had such a flame but did not burn up! It still starts that way today. The one who sees the fire of the Holy Spirit and turns aside to know about it comes to know God's ways. Think about Mary. She turned aside from her routine busyness to sit at Jesus' feet and get to know God's ways. In the presence of Jesus Mary learnt God's ways of doing things and saying things. Jesus declared to Martha, her busy sister, "One thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part." Why would He say only one thing was needed? Because that one thing - getting to know God's ways for man - results in the acts of God being known in the earth. Exo.3:3, Luk.10:42.
It was the acts of God that brought the children of Israel by Moses safely out of Egypt! The Children of Israel got to see the acts of God because Moses had gotten to know the ways of God. It's going to happen the same way for you and yours! As you and I in our churches and homes get to know the ways of God those connected to us are going to see more and more of the acts of God.
Learn from God in moments of quiet!
