I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold all those who are incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced.

Isaiah 41:10-11 - NKJV

Look at the scripture passage above. In it, by the mouth of Isaiah the prophet, God has affirmed and asserted that He supports you; He backs you up! Those promises are covenant promises and they confirm you have the favour of God.

Imagine this. The king appears on the balcony and you are by his side. There's a buzz of conversation among the crowd as they speculate on who you are. Then the king takes your hand and with your hand in his hand he raises it, upholding his and your hand before the people. Your friends rejoice. Your enemies see their plots against you are undone. Both know that the king has forged an alliance with you and you have his favour. It sounds like a medieval drama yet it pictures perfectly how things are between you and your God!

God says, "I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you!" It's like when a king strengthened the hand of a prince in ancient times. By this strengthening the prince could carry out his affairs free from the hindrance of his enemies. God is willing to do this for you. Call upon your covenant and draw upon His favour. He will take your hand and uphold you before the people of the earth declaring His alliance with you! God has forged by the hand of His Son Jesus an alliance with you - the New Covenant. Jesus has brought you into sonship and in that sonship you have God's favour! Ro.8:15, Gal.4:6-7.

Fear not, you have God with you!
