In the arms of God
The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, 'Destroy!'
Deuteronomy 33:27 - NKJV
What do I see? With the mind of Christ I see the arms of God all around me. Those arms are my protecting refuge from the storm. They are my support carrying me through life into good things. They are the arms that fend off the enemy thrusting him backwards when he charges against me. 1Cor.2:16, Psa.84:11, Heb.9:11.
The mind of Christ does not view life with an expectation of sickness, sin and failure. What is it seeing instead? It sees everything through the time-space moment we call the Cross of Christ. At that moment, you as a believer went out of the hands of the consequences of sin and into the arms of God! It is that wondrous work of the Cross that the mind of Christ is seeing. It sees the victory, liberty, love and authority that Christ's substitutionary sacrifice grants. By that mind you see yourself in the arms of God living in His peace. Rom.5:1,17.
The prophet Isaiah exhorts you who are in Christ to abandon your old thought-perspective on life. Now you are to take up God's thought-perspective on it so as to see it as you now have in Christ. Do this and you will be thinking with the mind of Christ. You will be seeing glorious and victorious opportunities. Note how you think. How you think comes out in how you talk. How you talk gears you up for receiving what you've said. Change your thinking and get geared up for receiving every good thing. Isa.55:7-9.
By your words assign to yourself God's blessing!
