Blessed days to come
The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning...so Job died, old and full of days.
Job 42:12,17 - NKJV
No one said there wouldn't be setbacks as we look to make the Christian journey through life. Trials and troubles do come against us on our pilgrimage. Sometimes, in the face of this, we incur lose and even tragedy. At times our spiritual immaturity or ignorance let this into our lives or other times we fail to avoid the lose because of our lack of discernment. In spite of this, one thing is certain, if you stick with Jesus beholding Him as your Deliverer then in keeping company with Him your latter end will be better by far than your beginning. Joh.16:33, Psa.34:19.
In Jesus your Saviour you are set up for a life that gets brighter and brighter. In Christ Jesus, your Heavenly Father has given you a path to walk on and a sphere to walk in. This path is the counsel for life He's provided you with. It is a path illuminated for you by the Holy Spirit. His illumination helps you walk comfortably and accurately in the counsel. The sphere is the covenant relationship Christ has brought you into with God. In this sphere the curse is removed so that the blessings can come upon you. The words of the apostles and prophets in the Bible will establish you both in His sphere and His path. Prov.4:18-19, 1Cor.2:12-14, Gal.3:13-14.
After I got saved, life was like a spiritual dawn for me. In it I revelled like a man who'd never seen the sun rise before. Today my Christian life is past the spiritual dawn. Nevertheless, I am still revelling in the Father's revelation of His love and peace. I reflect on my life and count it a miracle. How marvellous is the Lord's faithfulness and care. I have been through it in my life but at all times the Lord has come through for me. Delivering me from adversities and adversaries He has brought me into blessings I couldn't have previously imagined. May you experience this too.
Walk with Jesus to the perfect day
