God waits for you
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.
Isaiah 30:18 - NKJV
Have you spent time in the Lord's presence today? It looks like you are still often struggling your way through your day because you aren't taking time for quality fellowship with your Heavenly Father.
The Lord waits for you. He waits for you to stop running as you chase or are chased and to start returning to Him to wait upon Him for His salvation and His guidance. From there He can bless you. Look how He intends to bless you if you wait on Him in that way: 1) He will be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. 2) He will answer you when He hears your call. 3) You will see your teachers. 4) Your ears will hear His guidance. 5) He will water your seed sown. Isa.30:19-23.
What does it mean to wait on Him? David gives us the general idea in Psalm 123 when he says, "As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, so our eyes look to the Lord our God." Here are some specific pointers to help you effectively wait upon the Lord. 1) Return to Him. Turn aside from the busyness of your day to spend time in His presence. 2) Rest with Him. Cast all your cares upon Him allowing Him to hold and care for them while you find refreshment and recovery in His presence. 3) Get quiet before Him and you will get confident in Him while you stand before His throne of grace and behold in the spirit His power and His glory. Isa.30:15, Psa.63:2.
Return and commune with the Lord today!
