Your speech matters!
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12 - NKJV
What are you saying with your mouth? Whatever it is, it's shaping outcomes in your life! This is partly because it moulds your expectations. Those who recognise the power of a good confession look for an opportunity to praise God no matter what is going on.
Praise is the foundation of good confession. Stop thoughts of failure and defeat; stop them also from escaping into your life through the gate way of your month. What your mouth speaks your mind - and from there your heart - comes to expect. What you expect then shapes the way you are and the things you do. Thought triggers speech but it's always your choice what you speak. Choose to speak the thoughts that glorify God and choose to tell your mind what to think. Thoughts that glorify God in your life are those that acknowledge the Lord as your loving, caring, faithful and almighty Heavenly Father. Thoughts like that make good confessions, confessions of faith and praise!
God told Joshua to put His Word in his mouth as his continuous reflection. God promised that then Joshua would have good success. This will work for you too. By pondering God's Word daily it will change the way you think and speak. Have a good confession for your life everyday of your life! Such speech will change what you have coming. Such speech will change your expectations and bring gratitude into your every attitude. By it, there's a way to prosper and have good success. Josh.1:8, Phil.4:8.
