New Covenant Provision
My son, God will provide.
Genesis 22:8, 14 - NKJV
As Christians, if we ponder and speak out loud God's precious promises from a believing heart the conditions of our lives start to change no matter what the prevailing circumstances may be around us. The word of faith in our hearts and the confession of faith with our mouths steadily and sure transfers our life sphere out from the natural prevailing one around us into the supernatural kingdom of God. As this happens, more and more we find provision and prosperity appearing in our lives from out of God's riches in glory through Jesus Christ. Phil.4:19.
Something is wrong with our grasp of this faith principle when we are established in Christ as our Saviour but, instead of experiencing an increasing flow of the blessings of Abraham in our lives, we find ourselves ever dependent on miracles and human interventions in order to get by perhaps years after we accepted Christ. (See Gal.3:13-14.) If this is the state you find yourself in, let me encourage you today to seek earnestly the Holy Spirit to reveal this principle to you and to help and anoint you to walk in it. Rom.10:8-11, Heb.11:6.
Focus your spiritual eyes firmly on the Lord as your supplier. Move yourself to where you can confess as Abraham did to Isaac, "My son, God will provide." Gen.22:8,14. This can happen for you. To get there start today constantly living in and meditating upon the covenant God has established with you in Christ Jesus and upon the precious promises of provision that are given to you as an integral and essential part of that New Covenant.
