Guided by a loving Father
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go."
Isaiah 48:17 - NKJV
God is ready to show you a way out, a way forward or a way up. He's waiting for you to acknowledge Him so He can give you direction. He teaches those who are teachable. You can be taught of God when you don't think you have all the answers but resort to the One who does and acknowledge Him as Creator of Heaven and Earth. Prov.3:5 -6, Psa.25:9.
Are you looking to the Lord for an answer to a dilemma or problem you have? Have you been waiting and apparently not getting a response? If so, perhaps you need to re-consider how you've been asking the question. Could it be that you called on the Lord to show you a way from a range of ways you already thought up? If you've ever had teenage children you're likely to have heard more than a few questions framed something like this, "Do you think I should rent a car or use yours to go out this weekend?" As a parent how were you to answer that? How is your Heavenly Father to answer a limited-answer-range question?
God wants to hear your call and show you "great and mighty things, which you do not know". He is ready to surprise you. He is ready to "do a new thing". He says, "I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." You are His child and wants to lead you into a good place. Don't ignorantly or wilfully attempt to constrain how He can answer. Allow your Heavenly Father to gently guide you to the place that He has prepared. Isa.43:19, Psa.32:8, Exo.23:20.
