The path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.
Proverbs 4:18-19 - Amplified.
The longer I stick at this Christian life of keeping company with Jesus the more I'm seeing of the path I'm on! This makes me bolder in the daily steps I have to take. It makes me more confident in changes and adjustments. After all, in His light I'm seeing now where I'm treading and where I'm heading!
The Bible promise above is for all God's children - it's for you and it's for me! Jesus has done for us what we couldn't do for ourselves - He has made us righteous. Now, as we walk with Him in responsiveness to the Holy Spirit, we have practical righteousness also. It is then that a wonderful thing happens - the path of our lives comes out of darkness into the light and on to the perfect day!
