Salvation is only in Jesus

by Pastor Simon

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved...For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Romans 10:1,3 - NKJV

Jesus has been so good to us. There should be a yearning in us from the Holy Spirit that others in our nations and communities experience His goodness too. Apostle Paul was like this. He yearned over his people and he allowed this yearning to move Him to continually pray in God's love and joy for them, at the same time always remembering to give thanks for them. Follow his example.

People need Jesus. They need Him desperately to fill their emptiness and make them complete. In my own life, before coming to Christ, I left Jesus standing outside. In my searching, I went about looking to satisfy my inner emptiness by everything except Him. That inner emptiness is an empty space in the heart of man that only God can fill. Finally, I thank God, I met believers whose emptiness had been filled by Jesus. They had found life in Him. Seeing this caused me to want Him too. I invited Him in and He filled my emptiness and set me on the path to completeness in Him.

In the world people are out there seeking satisfaction for their emptiness, yet they are leaving the only One who can truly satisfy them standing outside. We need to be praying for them and at every opportunity we need to be ministering to them. Let's minister out of a passionate desire for them to know, as we know, the One who has filled the void of our hearts and wholly satisfied our innermost need.

Pray for others passionately
