Shortly after moving to our present home I was talking to a neighbourhood boy about the Lord. He asked me, "How can you be so sure Jesus is real?" I found myself giving him a very simple answer, "I know He's real because I talk with Him every day". This must be one of the greatest joys of our Christian lives; that Jesus makes Himself real to us.
I hope you're not missing out on this. Jesus is so keen to let Himself be clearly seen by you but He's not going to do this while you're all caught up in some hectic scene of your life. He stands just off stage quietly waiting for you to get done. You're going to have to step off the stage of life to spend time with Him. Do this and you'll soon be longing to get to know Him more and more each day.
