Blessed is the man whose strength is You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

Psalm 84:5 - NKJV.

This scripture speaks of pilgrimage. A pilgrim is a person who is on a journey to a holy destiny or destination. The pilgrims heart is filled with a yearnng to reach a place he believes God has shown him he should be. The Bible reveals such a pilgrimage for every believer.

The greatest danger in this life is not losing your way but forgetting or never knowing you're meant to be going somewhere. If you only lose your way you'll soon find a signpost or someone to put you back on the right track. However, if you forget you're meant to be going somewhere, you'll go nowhere.

Paul writes in the Bible by God's Spirit, "Whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son." This is the destiny God gives you in life the moment you receive eternal salvation. This is where you're always meant to be making for. (Ro.8:29)

Remember your destination, get familiar with it, yearn for it, progress constantly towards it and you'll make it in the end!
