Jesus said, Permit the children, and stop forbidding them, to come to me, for of such as these is the kingdom of heaven.

In prayer this morning I was stirred in my spirit for our children - all our children. I sensed something of the Lord's love for them and His yearning for them to come to Him; not just for salvation but also to know Him in a very real and special way.

Three of the four Gospels give us these words of Jesus exhorting us to make a way for the children to come to Him. This must be important to Him. Have we, as adults, truly responded to this? Do we continually make ways for our children to meet with Jesus or do we reserve a living relationship with Him for ourselves?

In our church settings, whatever we're putting on for the children - be it events or activities - let's make sure we're putting on an opportunity for them to come to Jesus!
