Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Hebrews 13:8 - NKJV.

I love to read in the Gospels about the ministry of Jesus. I receive such comfort and encouragement from seeing His love, His compassion, His concern for each and everyone He came to.

Today I was reading the account of Jesus loosing the woman who had been bent over double for eighteen years by a spirit of infirmity. We're told that when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." Luke 13:12.

I read that and my heart rejoices. I rejoice, not just for the woman but for myself and for everyone I love and am concerned about. I rejoice because I know Jesus hasn't changed from that time till now and never will. Jesus is still the same today. He's still calling people to come up so close to Him that He can touch them. He's still speaking and He's still healing! He's alive and He lives for you and me!
