Let all that you learned and received and heard and saw in me fashion your conduct; and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:9 - Weymouth's Translation.
Here is a simple rule for Bible reading that will keep you from ever getting flakey in your faith - always read the Bible's exhortations as God's love letters addressed to you and no one else, about your life and no one else's.
The words of the prophets and apostles in the Bible have their origin with God. They are for our edification, encouragement and comfort. Men and women of God, in the Bible and in ministry today, impart to us teachings and an example, not for us simply to admire, but for us to put into practice in our every day lives. They are for you and me to reflect on, and consider carefully, as to their implication for us.
Look today for how you can apply the teachings and example of those who've impart things to you from God. Apply them in your conduct, your relationships and your prayers.
