You can think as God thinks
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts;...For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:7,9 - NKJV
There are many Christians who've still got the idea you can't know the ways of God. Yet, the Bible tells us that God made known His ways to Moses. God is more than ready to make His ways known to you and to give you His thoughts. First, though, you have to give up your own ways and thoughts in order to receive His. The analogy is that of your glass when it's full, it can only have new contents when you are prepared to dispense with the old! Psa.103:7.
The scripture portion above is God's call to you to renew your mind. God sees you wandering around in the extreme finiteness of natural reasoning. He wants to share with you His infinitely better thoughts and ways! You can have God's thoughts on things and His ways of doing things. For there to be that process of receiving, though, you are going to have to let go of your own ways and thoughts in order to make place for His. Rom.12:2.
Just think how much you could be accomplishing with God's thoughts and ways in you instead of your own! You could navigate your course ahead smoothly through all adversity and sail your life towards the sure prosperity that the creative nature of God produces. How long are you going to struggle on with your own finite thoughts and ways? Today begin seeking the infinitely better ones of God! God's ways and thoughts come into your life as you reflect on His written word and allow the Holy Spirit to make it His living, revealing word for you. 1Cor.2:9-13.
Marvellous are the ways and thoughts of God!
