God's ways and thoughts
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts;...For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:7,9 - NKJV
The Bible tells us that God made known His ways to Moses. It's strange then that we've got Christians who act and speak like you can't know the ways of God. In truth, God is enthusiastic to make His ways known to you. The scripture passage above even suggests He's ready to give you His thoughts. If this is to happen, though, you have to surrender up your own ways and thoughts ready to receive them. It's like when you have a glass full of water, if you want a more appealing drink in the glass you first have to dispense with the plain water. Psa.103:7.
God sees you living out most of your life led by the finite thoughts and ways of natural reasoning. He wants to share with you His infinitely better thoughts and ways! You can have God's thoughts about things and His ways of doing things. In order to receive them, though, you are going to have to let go of your own ways and thoughts in order to make place for His. Rom.12:2.
Imagine how much you could be accomplishing with God's thoughts and ways. I reckon you could be navigating your way smoothly through all adversity. I think you could be sailing your life towards the sure prosperity produced by the creative nature of God. Don't carry on struggling with your own finite thoughts and ways. Begin seeking the infinitely better ones of God! Reflect on God's written word and let the Holy Spirit make it for you His living word - the word revealed to your heart. 1Cor.2:9-13.
