Spiritual Investment
The decisions of the Lord are true and full of righteousness. More to be desired are they than gold, even than much shining gold... By them is your servant made conscious of danger, and in keeping them there is great reward.

You can be mining God's Word daily! Once you realise the true value of the gold that God's Word offers then that's what you'll be doing. The Holy Spirit is an investment adviser providing advice through God's Word. The scripture portion above says you ought to get into mining (digging down and bringing to the surface) that advice. It's strongly encouraging you to mine the decisions of God that you may greatly benefit from them.
God's decisions - the King James Bible Version uses the word "judgements" - are God's measurements of things. God's Word gives us the decisions of the Lord. For the most part that is referring to His measurements of the purposes, thoughts and actions of man. That is to say, measurements as to their lasting worth, their righteousness and their holiness. This is why sometimes God's "judgements" are hard to receive. They are hard to receive because often they tell us we haven't yet measured up to His divine standards!
Could there be anything more valuable than the decisions of the Lord? God's Spirit yearns for us to receive God's decisions. He knows their real value. You'll transfer priority to God's Word once the Holy Spirit has had chance to show you their true worth. They'll give you a warning when you're heading towards disaster or destruction. Do the wise thing and line up your life in accordance with them and they will grant you a rich and weighty reward!
