The grace of life

by Pastor Simon

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:2 - NKJV

Grace brings you out of ungodliness and a distant relationship with God. Grace reminds me of a bell boy - the kind you see in really old movies. Like a bell boy, grace goes into the crowded foyer of your life to find you and usher you over to where God stands waiting for you to walk and talk with Him! Grace does it so sweetly that you never feel you are being frog marched into obedience but rather ushered into blessing! Grace is what you need in times when your life needs to get back on track. Tit.2:11-13.

I am excited about grace! In my life grace has so often found me when I was lost in my walk with God or out of touch about things in my relationship with God. It has brought me back into fellowship with the Father and the way of His blessings. Whenever I see a brother or sister in Christ struggling I pray he or she will have and respond to God's grace. Grace saves, grace trains, grace ushers people back to God. Grace is the foremost of the all things of God that makes for life in the fullest, most glorious sense and for godliness. Let's recognise how much we need grace in our daily life as believers! 2Pet.1:2-3.

Paul by his words in the verse above imparts grace to his readers. Lord, may we receive and partake of that grace! We can have a relationship together in grace. You can partake of my grace and I can partake of your grace. We can be connected to one another through the Gospel and in this special relationship know God's grace flowing among us. May we abound in Gospel partnership and abound in grace! Phil.1:7.

Let's have grace in life for life!
